I have narrowed my notes to Deep Summer and Soft Winter for now. The charts look clear until I hold similar fabrics near my face. For consistency, I used the same window light on two separate days. I also left out makeup, jewellery, and patterned clothing for the test. The darker samples added definition, but some also made ordinary shadows look heavier. Muted cool shades appeared balanced, but I want more than a personal hunch. The useful notes were about clarity, contrast, and how even my skin appeared. A neutral color analysis could make the comparison more systematic than scrolling through palette boards. I do not expect a quiz to replace a trained consultation or good lighting. What has helped you distinguish a deep cool palette from a softer cool one? Advice that does not depend on perfect sunshine would be especially helpful. For now, I would rather improve the comparison than choose a category too quickly. Keeping the same method over time seems like the fairest way to test it. I appreciate ideas from people who have worked through similar uncertainty.
